Over many years, I was the lead designer on countless campaigns for Victoria Bitter and they all hold a very dear spot in my heart. Not only were they the first client my Creative Director ever let me work solo on, they are also my favourite beer.
While I worked on these campaigns, I had a VB vending machine from The Best Cold Gear campaign sitting next to my desk. Every friday around 4pm, that quintessential theme song would ring through the office as someone grabbed the first beer of the week. And it was always well deserved.
I was lucky enough to work on multiple award-winning campaigns for VB including the Live Ashes Scoreboard, a man cave item every bloke needed for the long summer of cricket. It kept you up to date with every run and wicket regardless if you were watching the game or not. A true blend of technology, sport and the love of beer.
